How food can sometimes make it all better :P

So I've been having a couple of really  fuck-all days...And there was nothing I could really do about it.

But then I realized the worth of "Hakuna Matata" :P

Lol no, not really. I was just kidding.

But seriously. Life kinda sucks without my music player. I miss it so bad! :'(

(Oh... for those who didn't know.. it got stolen on the train on my way to Bangalore.)

Ah well. No use crying over spilled milk, i thought. So i channeled myself into cooking.... And I must say it does help.

Like how Julie said in the movie "Julie and Julia". When everything in my day goes bad, it's kinda like I just know for sure that if I put these things together and cook it for this long, this will just turn out right magically.

Like the strings of destiny pull the tastes into place and make them magically blend to be what I want them to turn out to be.
Almost like pure creation. Which kinda makes me feel really good.
And when things don't turn out as expected, most of the time they just become better, like a gift dropped from the hands of God into the pot.
Lol yeah. i have a wild imagination.

But seriously.. the only key to cooking well, would be to imagine each taste, each smell, distinctly.... And then combine them in your head.
So i guess my wild imagination is what I need to call things into existence in the kitchen :D and it feels awesome! :D

For those who don't know a thing about cooking... :) don't worry. there's still enough time to learn! just try it sometime. I bet you'll love it. All it takes is a little courage and a lot of determination. :D

Sheesh. I sound like a mom. :-/
