Situations you don't usually find yourself in

1. Your grandmother doesn't usually want you married NOW. Or by this Easter because she's "lenient".
2. Your mother doesn't usually bug you to get a boyfriend.
3. You don't usually actually get convinced by your mom. Not if you have a good reason. 
4. You don't usually ask a friend of four years out. Not when he never even knew you had a thing for him.. and ESPECIALLY not when you both are not even in the same country. 

..... so tell me WHY things like these never seem to be out of the ordinary till I compare my life to others'?
